250 Children in Govaives have some food and water

A quick update - not much time.

The good news is that the 250 children in the Gonaives village are fine and have some food and water for a few days.  We don’t know about the other 200.  The bad news is that Hurricane Ike is preventing the helicopters from flying in the aid drop we’re doing with El Shaddai and Mission of Hope and the Hatian Gov’t.  We can’t start the process until the weather clears in Gonaives - late Sunday at the earliest, and most likely Monday.

We’ll keep you posted.
