In September, 2004, C3 Missions partnered with El Shaddai Ministries International (Cayes, Haiti) to fully support the Cambry orphanage. This small orphanage is located about 6 hours (by vehicle) from Port-au-Prince. Michael Fox visited the struggling orphanage in August of 2004 and saw a very small building with 9 children living in it. The overseer explained that there was not enough financial support to even send the children to school.
C3 Missions was able to share the need with friends and supporters. Money was immediately raised to expand the home to accommodate up to 40 children. Funds were also sent to purchase clothes, supplies and furniture for the children. This orphanage has since been expanded, again, and now houses 105 children!
Louis St. Germain and his wife Martina interview each child to see if they are a good fit for the Cambry home. When accepted, each child will receive all necessary medical treatments and be given their own bed and clothes. For many, this will be the first time they have ever slept on a mattress.
It will cost about $40.00 per child per month to support the Cambry home. This includes all food, clothing, school fees, medical fees, and salaries for the care-givers. Please consider becoming a partner of the Cambry orphanage.
