Haiti Relief Fund

If you’ve seen the news, you’ve seen the devastation in Haiti. The starving country has been devastated by four consecutive hurricanes. C3 Missions International, a Kansas City based not-for-profit organization, has a vested interest in Haiti and the situation there

C3 Missions has an orphan village in Gonaive, Haiti with 250 children. There are more C3 children that were waiting for their homes to be finished only to have them destroyed by the floods. At least another 500 abandoned children have come to the village looking for help. We need to care for these children. We need to care for others in that community. We need your help.

Please join us in helping the children. We are asking for donations of the following:

·        summer clothing for children and adults
·        shoes
·        socks and undergarments
·        twin size sheets, towels and wash clothes,
·        toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, etc.
·        Over the counter medicine: cough syrup, Tylenol, hydrocortisone cream, Neosporin, vitamins, etc.

The C3 Haiti Relief Fund is a dedicated account whereby every cent of money given to this account will go towards what we need to do in Haiti for necessary relief for our children, and to rebuild and get more orphaned and abandoned children in care, immediately.

Press Release on Sept. 3, 2008

We know that the homes we had under construction for 200 children in Gonaïves are wiped out. Multiple additional homes under water will not withstand the trauma.  We have schools that will go down. We have a $100,000 medical clinic in Gonaïves - construction finished and set to open in the next few months - that is trashed. We’ll have 1,115 children that will need additional emergency care, and we expect we’ll bring in another 1,000 in the coming months in the wake of this tragedy. All will need to be housed, fed, medicated, cared for by mommas.

In short, after assessment in the coming days, I expect that to get back to Par and start to meet additional needs of orphaned and abandoned children in these areas will cost well over $1,000,000. The more we can collect for the orphaned and abandoned children in Haiti who will - more than about anyone - feel the brunt of this damage; the more we will do. Period.

We are set to receive these donations. 100% of these donations will go to the relief, rebuilding and necessary expansion of our work on the ground for orphaned and abandoned children in Haiti.
